Hi:

You certainly produce top-quality graphics etc. I’m looking to add another web site, can you provide me with some idea on pricing.

Thanks

Hi Martin,

The pricing for the website would depend entirely on the scope. The number of pages, the features and functionality required etc. I would appreciate if you would kindly give me some more details about your requirements and I will be glad to discuss further and provide a quote / give you some idea about the pricing.

Thanks Martin!

Hello,
I am a final year student at Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune. I was looking up designinindia.net for places where I could work for my diploma project. And that is where I happened to see ‘Aside’. I am really happy to see the transparency on your blog. It feels great to hear true stories from a designer’s side and it’s a good learning too, esp. for students.
I was sending out mails for the diploma project. I will surely send it to you too. Even if the project doesn’t work out, I would be very glad if I could get your feedback on my work.

Hello mam i m trying to start a free lancing wrk in graphic designing
but i dnt know what s min fee i should charge can you help me?

Naina said,

Akshat, Maybe you should calculate the fees based on the number of hours you think the project will require – establish a minimum per hour rate and multiply accordingly. Unfortunately, in India, there are too many extremes when it comes to rates for graphic design services. It also depend son how good your work is. Maybe you could send me an email with a link to some of your work and then I could help you decide? It would also depend on the client and the kind of hand-holding they need – what is the complexity of the project? Is it just a layout job or does it needs creative direction? There are quite a few variables that determine the price you can charge a client – and you can learn that only over time. I could point you to a couple of resources on the web where you can ascertain your hourly rate and then multiply accordingly but I’ve had no success with those and would not recommend them. My email is naina @ aside dot in Thanks Akshat, Kind Regards,
Naina
